What is your preferred bloodlines to have on a pedigree?

Also how far back do you go until you lose interest?

And what bloodlines are popular in your area?

Older breeding I like Dash For Cash, Biankus, Jet of Honor, Sun Frost, Beduino, Lady Bugs Moon, Ettabo, Skipper W...

The newer generations, I like Bully Bullion, Corona Cartel, Judge Cash, Frenchmans Guy (right crosses), Beda Cheng.

I have a lot of nice studs today that I REALLY like also.

In the Pacific North West the dominating breeding is Judge Cash, Biankus, and Jet of Honor, with a couple Dash Ta Fames thrown in the mix. And Dats A Frenchmans are actually starting to make a move up here also.

For other bloodlines there are a lot of Hancocks and Leos.

For a pedigree I want the names close unless the sire himself is proven. Like Dats A Frenchman for example...he is a younger stud (early teens) he is a son of Frenchmans guy. He has a lot of nice breeding but I really like what HE throws...if that makes sense lol. But he also is a son by a proven Sire. So I like either the Sire/Dam being the real deal themselves (like being sired by Judge Cash, Dash Ta Fame, Bully Bullion, ect). I am also ok with it being a grand gen....like how JJ is bred...the big names are on the Grandsire/Granddam generation. I am a little more hesitant if it is any further back then that unless the closer generations are proven performers/producers and not just wannabees.

I also like a horses pedigree to be a good mix of Run/Cow. I don't like the Run on Run or Cow on Cow. With run you have just a lot of that, run. With the work to much and you have a really ratey horse. So the Run/Work you get a horse with free going and rate. It works best for us and is the mix I get along with....
