It does help them balence i dont believe it should be used for head problems. And why would you take it off a horse that has ran in it their whole life anyways?

Your feet do go forward when you push down on the horn. Your feet automatically go forward because you are pushing your butt down into the saddle

I like tie downs on some horses it really helps them but on others i do not it depends on the horse, but i have never heard of it ruining them or causeing problems

Shooter a 8 year old palomino mare
Cotton a 17 year old through bred gelding
My horses in training are:

I dont use bumper bits i usually just go straight into a competition bit
