Plans for 2013 Season
What is every ones plans for the 2013 season?
I have a lot of plans....but not sure if I will get to them all lol!
I DO plan on hitting a few more Pro Rodeos with JJ, but staying in the Columbia River Circuit. Also hit a few more Amateur rodeos as well to get to more arenas and such.
With Scrat I plan on taking him to a few Jr. Rodeos (Love the way my birthday falls, I am allowed an extra year in my association). It allows him to get on trashy ground and learn to handle different types of ground. Gets him used to the rough stock, banners, yelling, ect. And it is way cheaper and I wouldn't get the exposure I need at any barrel race. Also want to get him running at LEAST in the 2D by the end of the year.
Polly I just want to get her going and hauling more, which she needs. Haul her to just haul her to help get her more exposed. Maybe running in the 4D....not really sure, will see how things are going.
I also plan on getting Hotstuff, Rango, and Emmett started in the Spring and ride them as much as possible, and maybe haul them to a few close races and camp on them.
It is tough because I want to go more rodeos....but I am not going to because my backups still need to get more seasoned and time under their belts, so if they ever have to step up and be the main mount they can. Scrat is getting closer though! He is gonna be a rockstar!
I had some rough spots and got out of some holes I never wanted to be in, but I made it with the help of some great people and amazing support system.
I am so very excited for what 2013 has to bring!

my plans for the 2013 season
start lungeing and driving fancy and drifter
get running angel on barrels and continue pattrening her on poles.
season doc up on poles and barrels take him to some local jackpots and high school rodeos
start running frosty at jackpots and ameteur rodeos to see how he clocks and continue his pole bending training
start high school rodeoing off streaker
